Got the sell out paper today - how wonderful this new deal is BUT they must have forgotten to include the ballot paper! I presume there will still be a ballot but they're running it mighty close, it's only a two week window to receive the ballot vote NO and send it back.

Well its "legally Binding" so the official answer would be its a certainty - in the real world it would depend on you logging your hours, them agreeing with the managers and have a decent rep and branch.

Me too. The new agreement will do nothing to help the posties who struggle every day to get finished. A lot of it is just rhetoric, if they were sure of a yes vote the ballot papers would have been delivered by now. I think it will be a close call for a yes vote and that will be swayed ones who want the back pay, which is understandable. Reading the agreement, , despite what the union says, it is a no strike agreement as RM can tear the agreement up if strike action is called, which is basically the same thing.

Could this be the parting of the ways for RM and the CWU when they can't produce a yes vote for their masters. If only.

Same as that, but really, all we're doing is making a principled stand..the yeses will have it. I think , although a lot of people on here seem capable of cutting through the bullshit, we aren't a cross section of RM employees and CWU members.
