Car use

Post by smok3y666 »

I have been asked to use my car for business needs, what is the general situation regarding this? I thought it was no longer allowed for workers to use their own cars for business needs? Could someone please clarify. Thanks.

If you don't have business insurance then you're not insured for business use (you can't even drive to a different office).

I have been asked to find out how much the additional cost will be to get business insurance. All I want to know is can RM/PF expect people to use their car for business use. I haven't been asked, I've more or less been told that either me or someone else will have to use their own car for business needs.

PF do have owner drivers are they trying to get you onto that sort of contract. I think you need CWU advice as well as advice from here. Have you contacted them?
