They were probably mis-delivered before the strike and your neighbors just got round to posting them back to you.

4 vans left our D.O.this morning. Guessing that specials were in 2 of them and we could see various packets on front seat of another. Spotted another emptying box outside sub office at 11am... No one brave enough to cycle past us pickets again today.. We think very little mail has been delivered around here.. 13 strike breakers in out of 130. thats 60% at work then Mr Crozier!!!! K**B HEAD

During the two 48 hour strikes, had my air rifle waiting for them to walk up my path. Luckily for them I didn't get any mail... :dance :dance :nana :nana

Don't you need a license to shoot vermin? Can you still get one at a post office. You remember, the place you buy stamps and pay your t.v license. What are they called now.....Oh yeah, W H Smiths!

Glad to say, I didn't get even so much as a begging letter from an estate agent on any of the four days we were out. :Very Happy

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
