I applaud your stance on the matter but i thought for it to be part of your contract you have to do the changes for three months and you could go in at 6 tommorow and say you dissagree and doing the later start under protest (maybe by letter i dont know ) i could be wrong about this though maybe someone in the know could enlighten me.
If you do go in at the new time ( as the CWU have told us to ), you should sign in and add " UNDER DURESS ". Also hand in a letter to your DOM ( if you havn't already ) stateing that you dissagree with the changes and that you reserve the right to sue for constructive dismissal because you have NOT been properly consulted about your personal circumstances ( You'll be told that you had a 1 TO 1, but counter this by asking how many people have been allowed to continue with their early starts as a result of said 1 to 1's-----NONE AT ALL ! ) In an organisation as large as RM the management have a DUTY to consult and make apropreate arangements for staff ( esp. those with Care duties for thr Young / Elderly / children under 6 ) THEY CAN , but DONT want to make exceptions ! Also state that you should be given 1 weeks notice for every year you have worked for RM ( Upto max 12 weeks )
With the CWU's LEGAL Dept. a CLASS ACTION would be a good way to persue the situation ! BUT this needs to be done sooner than later
Im in at normal time of 5am tomorrow as i am a driver who shunts the mail between our mail centre and local DO so normally dont do f*** all for first half hour well done rm it will f*** all for at least an hour now, you couldnt make it up when will they learn
