Cameron joins talks over planned Witney Post Office move

District councillors have met with Post Office and WHSmith representatives to discuss the Post Office’s planned Witney move.

It is planned that the post office will move from the Market Square to the back of WHSmith in the Woolgate Centre.

Richard Langridge, cabinet member for local economy and communities, said: “Post Office services are vital for local residents and so it is imperative that they are safeguarded. Although the plans are reassuring, our discussions will continue so we can ensure the best possible outcome.”
