Well I just hope that the Reps have a little more bottle this time and don't cave in to the ground breaking, deal of the century, no Plan B, best we could get peddlers in suits and become blinded by the bright lights in the big city. :cuppa

This whole agreement is a flawed agreement for one it does not meet the aspirations of all in delivery whilst it has mealy words it does not address the issues such as bullying and harassment! Or non payment of overtime why increase the overtime rate if you don't get the hours you worked? this agreement is not thought out well enough for me to vote for it!

This is the last chance for strong units to take unofficial IA.

The pay deal plus the bribe and the back pay before xmas means that members who fool themselves that work is like family and think management love them like their mummies and daddies do, will vote for this agreement. Also, a lot of members are relatives of managers.

I'm voting No.

It's a joke of a deal.

Members i work with believe that this 200 quid extra is part of the deal.

They are also unaware that there is still an effective no strike clause.

Are the union going to make people aware of this? I doubt it as they will be pushing for a yes vote.

I see the union (at national level) as as much of an enemy as RM.

They only attempt to broker deals like this in order to justify their existence. They've done nothing for us in this deal, nothing at all. RM must still be laughing their socks off, even more so when the inevitable yes vote comes in.

So who will be getting the pay increase, the 5 years protected t&cs, the extra payments into pensions, the £200 etc ?

The extra workload, the no strike deal, World Class Mail, undisclosed incentive scheme - in the words of Louis Armstrong "what a wonderful world" - I'm such an ingrate

The 5 years are only protected if we forfeit our right to withdraw labour. Which as far as I'm concerned is a cornerstone of the union movement, and the only real solid bargaining tool a union has.

Yes, we have a pay rise, but why did the union ask us to vote no to the initial offer, and then they will be asking us to vote yes to this one? It's barely any different, worse in some respects.

And as so many others have said, I didn't want to strike for a pay rise, I'm quite happy with my pay if I'm honest. I'm not happy with the Bullying and harassment, the unfair and unachievable workloads, the placing of new starters on temporary contracts to make them jump through hoops and work for free if they want those contracts renewing, and many other day to day aspects of our work in delivery. I don't *think* I'm the only one with the same concerns.

None of these issues have been addressed.
