Re: TNT Post to challenge Royal Mail postal service
Could also damage RMs redirection service, no one is going to pay for two redirections, thats if TNT even bother setting one up, and why would anyone pay just RM and still have half their mail going to the old address, especially as banks and most large financial institutions use other companies instead of RM. Why pay £40 a year to have half you post redirected. I can't see RM and TNT sharing this information either.

Re: TNT Post to challenge Royal Mail postal service
They will not be collecting from thousands of letterboxes with thousands of sources of mail. They will be collecting from a couple of dozen juicy customers.
They will only handle uniform mail they can walksort, not a mixture of holiday brochures and small greetings cards. So it can all be delivered direct from trays, no local delivery offices and frames needed.
And will do one delivery a week.
And what's the betting that some fuckwit of a regulator will let them get away with it.
What a load of shite.

TNT are disgusting you can get their mail out of the insecure bags, found mail in bushes, in the streets hanging out of letter boxes, on the door steps
they deliver in the wrong street never mind houses if we did that sacked on the spot

Re: TNT Post to challenge Royal Mail postal service
There was an article on here earlier in the year in which TNT had a tantrum because RM wouldn't let them access our redirection database. I mean, how dare we. We're in 'co-opetiton' as WTLL once put in.mlw wrote:from what i understand they will buy the redirections of the rm so the customer only pays oncejanitor wrote:Could also damage RMs redirection service, no one is going to pay for two redirections, thats if TNT even bother setting one up, and why would anyone pay just RM and still have half their mail going to the old address, especially as banks and most large financial institutions use other companies instead of RM. The machine stops.
