Definition of a Scab

After God had finished the rattlesnake, the toad and the vampire, He had some awful substance left with which he made a Scab.
A Scab is a two legged animal with a corkscrew soul, a water brain, a combination backbone of jelly and glue. Where others have hearts, he carries a tumour of rotten principles.

When a Scab comes down the street, men turn their backs and angels weep in heaven, the Devil shuts the gates of hell to keep him out.
No man or woman has a right to Scab so long as there is a pool of water to drown his carcass in, or a rope long enough to hang his body with. Judas was a gentleman when compared to a Scab. For betraying his master, he had character enough to hang himself.
A Scab has no such character

Esau sold his birthright for a mess of pottage. Judas sold his saviour for thirty pieces of silver. Benedict Arnold sold his country for a promise of a commission in the British army.

The Scab sells his birthright, country, his wife, his children and his fellow men for an unfulfilled promise from his employer.
Esau was a traitor to himself; Judas was a traitor to his God; Benedict Arnold was a traitor to his country.

A Scab is a traitor to his God, his country, his family and his class.

Maybe dull for you but it is the only power we have to defend our terms and conditions, and though limited in scope it is an extremely powerful weapon

I think you forget... 'managers' don't have a choice to scab or not... the business uses some very underhand methods to enforce non-frontline staff scabbing. They told me "scab or go on leave".

I wnt on leave, And then I left.

I see so much posts on this website directing abuse towards others in derogatory terms.

Makes me wonder whether some of the posters who come out with this type of language would have the balls to say it face to face, one on one with thier 'enemies'.

If you want to fight a war, go join the army!!!! :cuppa

Wasn't thinking about management and Ican see why you left, career progression would probably been um , a little slow after making that choice.
I concede that managers position is rather different after all we have more safety in numbers and a strong national union to defend us, oh oh I forsee a problem

I've heard that one before re Royal Mail , managers have been threatened with the sack if they didn't cover front line in a once nationalised industry . They call it pressure for change or behaviour to get results .

There's been plenty of cases of anyone with any independence being moved sideways , some supervisors were told to resign from the union & join the sweetheart one .
Just becomes part of the whole culture , but there is a element of kick the cat with the "robust style " .

S**t always goes downwards .

isn't it a shame that things have to be like that? Sad, really... Image

... I hope we all get back together again at some point in the future, after we've finished being out on this current loop. Make it so.
