I think you're missing the point about the thread on this one. :cuppa
We have loads of packets/mail left in the office, and the sarcasm is rife about RM's advert too. No one is complaining in our office about how many packets people are getting. They're complaining about the fact that they are not being delivered due to lack of "resources" etc, so you're more than welcome to come to our office to deliver all the packets/parcels etc not taken out, or come set fire to them, as you suggest others should do, not that you should do that - criminal damage etc. :no no
Resources or effort?
Resources.

If the office won't have enough people/vehicles then all parcels can't be delivered.
There's only so much space in the 'little' vans.

Resources, there is more than enough effort put in to what we do.

I couldn't agree more.
They should have been sent out weeks ago, Instead the lunatics at the marketing department had a brain fart and said I know lets get our Posties to deliver one of these stupid little leaflets to every address (for my round nearly 500 drops) on their frame at the heaviest time of the year.
What a bunch of baffoons, you can tell that they don't have to go and deliver mail.
I hope one of them reads this and seriously takes note, it is far from funny.
Whilst I appreciate it is our jobs to deliver the mail and that is what keeps us in a job, why make it harder at this time of year? :evil/mad

even our mech came unsorted this morning,we are an afterthought out here in the sticks.

If you think YOU are an afterthought, have some feeling for those forlorn unsorted LETTERS;
now that parcels get all our love :hmmmm

My sincere thanks to the Moya's Marketing Minion for coming up with red D2D telling the public we love parcels just as most of the punters have already posted their packets, sorry, I mean parcels.
I really enjoyed sorting 650 of them onto the frame, then doing IPS, then eventually knocking the mech in, before setting off at 11.30 - and we weren't last out either :arrrghhh
Got so fed up with punters saying ""Oooohh you're late"" ended up telling them that it was the next day's delivery early. Some actually believed me
And finally (while I'm still in rant mode) what genius in Fleet came with the idea of purchasing Peugeot Bipper vans? Fine for single crew use but double crewed there ain't no room for packets once the mail's in. Hmmmmm maybe not such a bad idea though! :hmmmm

So, on Monday we have this bulk posting to deal with. Plus half today's sequencing as the machines were going to be so late finishing we were told to go out as we wouldn't complete if waiting for it. Plus all Mondays sequencing.

That's irrelevant though, cos it's just the non-existent letters and we love parcels. Well, apart from the 2 cages full that have been next to one of the frames for at least 3 days, were still there today at finish time even though loads of people got done early, and still will be there on Monday because the posties working tomorrow are sorting mail centre stuff and won't be sent out with those oh-so-important parcels.

A parcel business, really Moya? Then you'd better start realising how these parcels and customers are being treated and let down, all because RM, the company you run, is are trying to do Christmas on the cheap.

Delivering Christmas? Yeah, eventually,
