Missed induction

Due to some accident, I was stuck in the motorway last night for a few hours. I missed the first induction.

I phoned up the xmas helpline, and they said it's tough luck basically and there isn't much I can do as the inductions are pre-planned. Anyway, I phoned up the MC and asked if they have the details for Medway outhouse, the guy said he didn't, so I explained my situation and he took my name and said everything is fine and to come as normal tonight at 10PM and they can get me started. The guy I spoke to was in the MC, I am suppose to be in the outhouse. But he said that everything will be fine.

Do you think I should risk it? Or is he just playing jokes with me? :confused

Nah it's best to just go. Induction isn't any big deal and it'll take the Shift manager about 5-10 minutes to just walk you around the warehouse and explain what each area is for. You're not supposed to understand it all right there and then but he/she will just give you a general tour of the area and what goes on. Then you'll probably get assigned a position and just expect to do what your told. :wink:

Just turn up and blag it,they are so useless they wont know
There is a forgotten, well almost a forbidden word, which means more to me than any other.
