Fingers crossed its a decent deal. But i have a sickening feeling in my gut that wont go away. RM keen to announce to shareholders and CWU wanting more time before we the affected get a glimpse.
Patience is a virtue, but even mine is getting tested, RM want to go public to their holders, PEC want to keep it under wraps till possibly 17th, WTF, Members getting dissalusioned, at the very least there should have been an LTB to keep the Members informed, engagement & communication is key...

Nope, they haven't won yet, the negotiators can agree whatever they like, the CWU hierarchy can recommend whatever they like BUT each individual will have the right to vote yes or no and should carefully weigh up the pros and cons. Not the initial financial reward which will be heavily loaded in the blurb but what the agreement says about terms and conditions, for who they are targeting ie part timers like last time, full time long servers, work patterns, modernisation, world class mail, flexibility, banking hours - those are the considerations which should be on top of everyones agenda and not money. The younger you are the longer you are going to have to work and this is one of the crux votes for your future.
Is there an agreement? I have not heard,I thought it was a proposed agreement,Has Moya got to agree to it? and I heard she is in Canada for the holidays any chance of a Moya avatar on here not a smiley?
There is a forgotten, well almost a forbidden word, which means more to me than any other.
Well there was a meeting yesterday and they were expecting to be able to send out some sort of communication yesterday but that failed to materialise so one can only assume that the meeting went on longer than anticipated and was perhaps not as amicable as one would hope.
I can't really see the PEC doing anything other than ratifying the agreement since the alternative would be deeply embarrassing for the negotiators but I would doubt if everyone in the room is as delighted as the picture that will be painted would suggest.

What's betting it will be a unanimous decision and a ground breaking agreement, hopefully it won't open up and swallow us.
