You mean the front of the van but I would say exceptions to rule is gaining access from rear or side doors there could be parking lamppost stopping access to side door parking in London is very difficult! As with anything common-sense is best used by the individual postal worker but does common-sense by a line manager or his boss the DOM come into this equation?

This is very bad when I heard this it could have been any of us drivers, we all have put stuff in the front before, I thought there must be more to it than just 2 packets on the front seat, I thought maybe reg on the front seat door unlocked, posty no where to be seen kind of thing.... Even this should get a warning first... Its so hard working from the back, go round a corner and stuff goes everywhere especially when you've got large stuff and letter size stuff.... Looks more like they just want to get rid of us and replace us with part-timers.... Feel so bad for these guys we should all come out for them.
Let's hope it gets sorted and they get back soon... I.B caught them who would do that job....boo....

Every credit to these offices in supporting their members - I remember when that would have happened everywhere, sadly the world has changed and definitely not for the better.

Does HQ not see that deliveries are in dire straits even without a survey of dubious value. These sackings may well have been within the limits of such action but what a terribly draconian attitude towards employees, particularly at this time of the year when we are trying to get packets to customers in time for Christmas.

The PEC should take note of this as to the unacceptable face of management and ask themselves if this agreement will change things by one iota.
