Im voting yes and taking the money, i can guarantee you that within 5 years we will all end up like the rest, uk mail, dhl ,amazon. Companies these days do not give a shite about anyone but profits, so a little bit of advice take whats on the table now and get as much as you can, work your hours and stop getting stressed out.When d day comes take your money and get another job ,simples. it doesn't matter where you earn it as long as you work hard you'll earn it ,whether that be Royal Mail or somewhere else,what im trying to say is Royal Mail is not god the Human Race will be here long after Royal Mail have gone so use them for your needs not the other way around. It's quite simple if not frustrating. The membership elect an national executive to run the CWU for the members between the decisions of annual conference.

It is only a negotiators agreement at the moment. The PEC have been meeting since Wednesday afternoon to debate the agreement , here from the solicitors who worded the legal stuff and they will have recommendations from the officers to consider and they have a chance to amend the document or recommendations.

The recommendation will also likely include the raticification process and timescales of the members which given its Christmas must allow for a national briefing before Christmas and time for Branch's to meet to give their recommendation to the members to either support of reject the agreement.

Only when the PEC have endorsed the agreement and recommendations is it an agreement.

Then it will be released to Branch's , Divisonal reps and members.

There is a joint Divisonal Reps and Regional Secretaries meeting next Tuesday and a national briefing planned for the 17th December.

No details will be leaked before then. My understanding is that the agreement was given to the PEC with their name on it so if it was copied out or leaked it would be identified who had leaked it.

Would that be a lie? or is there a marked difference between what the yourself, the membership and the PEC define as 'details'?
