That's a DOM for you .
They haven't a clue
Asked a DOM for some more 739 cards today as we ran out and the lazy barsteward was ordering his xmas presents on ebay and another was letching all the women through their window who were picking parcels up :no no

In WTL tuesday we got told that we need to reduce the amount of p739s going through letterboxes as apparently mgmt are not happy about it. Apparently they are now "counting them" (f**k knows how) and telling us we are using far too many. :mad
Next they will be rationing them!
They are rationing 739's in our office. Run out 2 weeks ago, we have to put stickers on other offices 739's( its only xmas we have all the time to stick them on) that's the new way IMO.

That makes no sense. If you deliver to a neighbour you have to leave a 739 anyway to let them know.

Now I've heard everything! Are they encouraging doorstepping? We are not supposed to do this for obvious reasons.

Meanwhile the neighbour who reluctantly took it in has now entered the shower.... I wrote a story like this last year when the kind neighbour had to fight the dog to get to the door and then again when i went back for it and a boob dropped out of her gown, still can't look her in the eyes. (hoping it happens again) :Very Happy
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Management sound as though they are just a hop, skip, and a jump away from encouraging us to doorstep packets/parcels.

How long will it take those overpaid idiots to realise, that the earlier posties are out on their rounds, the more chance we will have of actually catching people in to take their packets/parcels.
Right now, and it will not change any time soon, the later we get out, the more we will inevitably bring back.

I think the point management were trying to get across was to try to deliver to neighbour, not about saving card. But it still puts pressure on us to leave parcels lying about or with dodgy neigbours. Whos to blame if parcels go missing? customer could make up a story that the parcel was stolen from their "safeplace". :hmmmm

The only time I will leave it with a neighbour is when they come out and offer to take it, a lot of people just don`t want you knocking their door to take something that doesn`t belong to them.
pathetic out of touch management
