If the union was going to stitch delivery members up they would have accepted Royal mails plans to create a total flexibity workforce including annualised and seasonal hours and continuous improvement and more effieency targets ! Instead they kept saying no and forcing Royal Mail to change their postion.
For some of you nothing other than Royal Mail putting up the white flag and changing everything including D2D and delivery methods and working all the hours your paid
For some who want to make a difference and are realistic the review will for the first time jointly identify not scare stories but see the facts and then the union has to tackle it through negotiations or a fight but at lease we will have a members survey and joint visits no hiding places.

there is rumour in our office that 6 hour deliveries has been agreed, i can't see that being the case no delivery officer worth their salt would vote that in. And if that turns out to be remotely true then the union have well and truly shafted delivery. we should ALL strike for that

Complete bullshit ! Under the BT there is no set span and under this agreement there is no change to the span.

Just had this off our Area Rep.........................PEC given 3 docs today. 1. Agents for growth, stability and longterm success plus functional issues. 2. Pensions. 3. Legal contract doc including protections and new IR processes
15 mins IA next Tuesday 1100 for Area reps / Div Reps.
Members vote timetable currently being worked out.
PEC will vote on agreement over course of tomorrow / Friday. Once ratified copies of the agreement will go out to all.
Field officials briefing next Tuesday. National briefing the week after with date TBC.
HQ very confident that branches / members will support agreement.
Dingo as I understand it you are not on the PEC and this is a confidential document until ratification by the said. Therefore how do you know so much about it and are so confident it is acceptable, do you sneak in with the Jaffa Cakes and a a quick peek at the TOP SECRET documents?

i tell you what is Complete bullshit- what we are being put through on a daily basis in delivery offices up & down the country & its about damn time the cwu at the top level listened to its paying members & did something about it instead of barking on about pay.
