Yes thanks DINGO many have called you but I know you about things you had no control over again thanks! So it's a deal well I hope we have a say on this as of today serious things are happing in delivery and not for the good! It remains to be seen if this deal will resolve any of these problems or exacerbate them time will tell as the 2010 deal made the whole deal worse for all can this agreement heal the wounds or is it more band aid for first aid!

I fear your wrong. I would say most the members in my office are pretty apathetic about the fine details of any deal, apart from a pay increase. I have little doubt they will vote YES to anything that gives them more money in the shortest possible time.

Not so silly, Sarah. What you said is true of most offices, sadly. RM know that they only have to offer to pay the full backpay on whatever increase has been thrashed out, for the money-grabbers to vote it in. By the time this deal is voted on, we will be probably looking at it going into our wages on 3rd or 10th January. People will know, before voting, that nine months' worth of backpay is going to be a big chunk of money, even after tax and NI is deducted

RM also know that it only requires just over a third of members to vote Yes, because about a third of members will not even bother to vote (but still reserve the right to whinge for years afterwards, stating 'I didn't vote for the 2013 deal'.... but forget that they didn't vote against it, either )

Maybe the CWU should put this deal out to the membership, stating 'ballot papers to be returned by 23rd December 2013'...

And then extend the closing date

Well said could not agree more look at all the office's going wildcat up and down the country even the CWU could not do that but the stupid management did push us to far and we will all walk but no letters will go out!

I hope this time it is, and every member gets a full copy on which to base a decision.
I for one will reserve judgment until I have read it.

They should at the very least, post the full agreement as a downloadable pdf file on the CWU website. Although, at the speed they update members, it'll be posted in full on here many days earlier

If there is a vote, please have one seperate for delivery staff only as it will reflect more fairly. so it can be light blue voting slip for delivery and white voting slip for non delivery staff then we will get a total vote for overall and delivery. But I don't think it will happens.

Don't think it would be legal but a good idea I just hope everyone reads it from front to back and makes their own decisions about it with a little help from us all on here! And then votes all vote not just sling it in the bin this is your future after all.

Well done know let's just vote it in and get on whatever the deal is. I am sure tomorrow people won't be happy but at least it's something. If they carry on it could go on years!
