See management can promise the earth yet rarely do they deliver you would know that if you worked in a delivery office! Corrected my original post on pay should have said 2.85% rather than 2.65% but if is 3.1% as some said then I'll get £200 in wages so that will be better. Thanks dingo if this is the case but let's wait and see maybe on Friday night they might release the details of the deal I would presume..

I have no idea and have always said I would have taken the old offer as quite happy.. They say it's improved and as Royal Mail announced good profits it might be better. My calculation was purely on what dingo said about the £100 going into basic pay which to me would .25% but to the average postie on £20000 it would be .50% higher than the previous if it's true. If you are on part time hours it should be higher but I suppose this will be to hard to work and I suppose there will be winners and losers.
