I'm annoyed at the CWU for not giving out any information. Up until today they had an update as of 26th November. Postmen and women are waiting to hear about what is happening and they give a weekly update. It isn't good enough. We should have been told every day what was going on.

Ok 15 mins of strike action to be taken by Area Reps , Branch Sec and Div Reps next weds, talks will continue to conclude a deal.

Why I don't need our reps to lose pay over this I want a deal fit for all and am prepared to lose pay for it so we get the right deal not just a delay which will suit Royal Mail fine this is just wrong I can see the s**t hit the fan from here and it anit the barbican in London.

So those reps who are taking industrial action won't get the £300 everyone has been promised from countless and countless propaganda reports?!!!! Anyone fancy ringing Moya and asking when everyone will see it in December's pay? Considering we haven't been told anything different

I'll bet they will get the £300 BUT as we have now been informed it's £200 and you get an extra 0.5% pay rise in the first year, so they'll get that and I would bet my cotton socks they will have made sure they won't lose out and will be awarded £200 for taking 1 for the team............... yes I know...........team.

More classic delaying tactics by Royal Mail and our union the CWU agreed to it need I say more two weeks time all deals of the table and you will get crumbs if lucky! I always supported our union never did I work when a strike was called they cannot call strikes as they don't have the balls to anymore! The whole momentum is now with the Royal Mail it is there call and our union fell into line I never as a union man would have thought this is what they would do!

what a f***ing joke so basically another extension a token walkout by area reps keeps the ballot alive.I for one will be cancelling my CWU subscription as off tomorrow if this is correct. Cant the CWU see that we cannot allow RM to get through XMAS without a deal, so they can turn round in January and say they are walking away from the table the ball is in the unions court whilst we can strike during xmas pressure weeks why can they not see that.If i remember right the last strikes we went out and a deal got done so what is the difference now.Wake up and smell the coffee Billy (AKA THICK SCOUSER).

1. What will cancelling your CWU membership achieve? Either you are a trade unionist or you are not.
2. If striking during xmas pressure was such a brilliant tactic, how come we have never done it?
3. What exactly do you think Billy Hayes had to do with this?

Billy Hayes is the head honcho of the union so if he has nothing to do with this god help us what are we paying the guy to do.

It's not off the table merely reshuffled. Now yesterday there was supposed to be a statement, there wasn't, today there was an upbeat message that there would be a negotiators agreement and put to the PEC - who quite clearly didn't like it and decided that it WAS time for industrial action so they took the momentous decision, after all these weeks, to call out the Area and Div Reps and Branch chiefs for ..............wait for it - 15 MINUTES just to keep the ballot alive............................for why? Who knows? - because there's no chance we'll ever see the gates now nor in the future.

Well dave it's like this, you see you need someone to hob-nob with the politicians, eat posh meals at Royal Mail whilst chin wagging with Moya and generally be paraded round at media functions as the titular head of the union speaking intellectually on a vast number of issues............yes I know - a demented chimp would be much cheaper but it wouldn't eat Greggs pies.
