I think we should've known after 2010 that the union would bottle it despite being in a position of strength again with xmas here.I expect Dave Ward will be doing another roadshow in Jan urging us to vote for "the second deal of the century"

Been strung along just like the Royal philharmonic have CWU by Royal Mail like a puppet on a string poster anyone.

i was really hoping that they wouldve come to a deal by now.
royal mail have played the cwu and us from the off,if the deal dont get done before xmas,and it dont look like it will now,then we are fxxked in the new year,we will be lucky if we get the original deal that we were offered,as royal mail now know that the cwu cannot threaten ia and actually carry it out.
if it goes to a ballot next year for ia then the turn out will be nowhere near as strong as the last ballot.
even if it was then royal mail know full well that the cwu wont act on it.
they have lost a lot of power if a deal dont get done.and cwu members will have no confidence in the cwu in negotiating anything.
if no deal is done before xmas then it will never get done,the members will have lost faith and royal mail wont offer us anything as they know the cwu aint got the balls to do anything.

i am truely gutted if a deal does not get sorted,royal mail will go to town on us all next year and the cwu will have nowhere near the backing from its members as they did 2 months ago.

I've been checking the CWU website all week. I feel such a fool now that they haven't even updated it when there is some news. A lot of people would not know to look at this website. I was even checking BBC news every day for any info as well as CWU. Every half an hour today.

Does anyone from the Union read this website? They should be ashamed at the way they've left the members without any information, and should resolve to make sure that we are kept informed.

Never in the history of time has one union shot it's self in the feet so much as the CWU it is no wonder we do not walk any more they cannot stand and without us they will fall CWU (1992-2013) RIP!

and it would help to stop misinformation and let us know who are playing tough for Royal Mail against CWU ? It might help us to see what is the problem.
