Now this proposed agreement as all will see is bloody complex and detailed , is it fair for the pec to have just a few hours to read it and make such an important decision on whether it should be subject to a ballot of the members , the difficulty is that the deadline for the ballot is tomorrow. We still don't have an agreement so a lot of difficult decisions have to be made.

This quote and others seems to smudge the issue, the PEC meet this morning and decided that enough progress had been made to continue Negotiations, but now they need a few hours to read & make a decision whether to ballot the Members, this has always been the case thru these protracted Negotiations, so the Q is: Do the PEC not get updates?, and what time do they need to read something that is or is not an Agreement

I realise everyone wants comms and updates. But when last weeks LTB said the pec would be meeting Monday and Tuesday that should have signalled to most that you would not be getting an update on the Monday .

Are we supposed to believe that too?

We are confident that negotiations will conclude during this period and that a final agreement will soon be placed before the Executive Council for endorsement in the very near future. The Postal Executive will meet again on Monday 2nd December 2013.

What you mean it didn't mention Tuesday...........must have been a typo, they obviously meant to say Tuesday
