Bezos isn't looking to buy a near-500 year old delivery service. He's interested in reducing delivery costs and wants shippers to undercut each other.
He's more likely to invest in research to teleport deliveries than he is to buy Royal Mail.

It will never happen. I can see a lot of people collecting radio control parts, motors etc OR lots of target practice with air pistols and catapults .......
