Bezos isn't looking to buy a near-500 year old delivery service. He's interested in reducing delivery costs and wants shippers to undercut each other.
He's more likely to invest in research to teleport deliveries than he is to buy Royal Mail.

Seen it in the news today. Amazon are testing the legality of drone deliveries upto 2 .4kg.

It will never happen. I can see a lot of people collecting radio control parts, motors etc OR lots of target practice with air pistols and catapults ....... :cuppa

It's nothing more than a publicity stunt to get amazons name back in the news.
