I'm with fishy on this one and that would also explain the lack of birds.Lincox wrote:Dont look like they have any pigeons up there. Mail and bin immaculately bereft of bird sh.te.

Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

It's definitely our mail and not just for one door looking at the D2D in the bundle,so why would someone walk up to this door put the bundle down on the bin and then forget to deliver the rest of the street?
It doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
They were searching for a packet, took out another bundle to find said packet, and forgot to put it back in bag. I have done this but obviously knew later down the line something was up. Fortunately I found it later when I retracted my steps. Looks like the 'DUMPING' is a hyperbole, a headline grabber. You would not dump a single bundle on top of a bin ffs.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

But surely the next day or the next day you would see the bundle you left still on the bin, or was the bin moved out of sight? Curiouser and curiouser!

Maybe couldn't be ar$ed to walk to the nearest pillar box with their unwanted mail so tried to sell their story to the papers for megabucks? And it's a blue lid on a green bin!

Re: Dumped Mail.
My theory is that there is a tidy bird at that address and instead of delivering the mail he delivered himself
. When he left he forgot about that mail and continued delivering until 3pm, maybe normal finishing time in Manchester. Everyday walking past that mail he's probably telling himself ****ing useless floater.

Exactly, the Postie was recycling. We have one that insists on cutting up all the D2D boxes so that they can be recycled in his own bin5plusbonusball wrote:Maybe couldn't be ar$ed to walk to the nearest pillar box with their unwanted mail so tried to sell their story to the papers for megabucks? Re: Dumped Mail.
This has been forgotten not dumped. Maybe a manager was covering for someone and collapsed after the first half of the street.

Managers do nothing on their own. Would have been plural. Perhaps 30 of them covering one walk and one noticed a Costa coffee shop.bustedflush wrote:This has been forgotten not dumped. Maybe a manager was covering for someone and collapsed after the first half of the street.

Re: Dumped Mail.
They deffo rested their heavy bag on the bins, and pulled out the next bundle, probably got the wrong bundle 1st, so put it down to get the correct one, and walked off without it. Easy mistake, but will get clobbered.

Re: Dumped Mail.
The only thing saving the postie would be that the bundle probably had 36 D2D's and one letter in from Tecso clubcard or specsavers.

all i can say is being HGV drivers , they were probably to fat and lazy to walk the 200 yards to the nearest large postbox at the end of the creasent to repost .4 days pppfffttt
ive personally left mail ontop of my van and drove off , including my pda ..its spilt from my bags before because they had hole in (huge holes) but luckily down here the puiblic are pretty normal , no webbed feet apart from bridgwater
