Llantrisant sorting office closed on induction night

I had been offered weekend night shifts, and the offer letter clearly stated that my induction would be at the sorting office in Pontyclun, Llantrisant (CF72 8YZ) at 9pm last night. However, when I turned up the gates were locked and there was no sign of anyone inside. 3 other Christmas casual workers turned up, as did a lorry driver who was due to collect packages from that sorting office. However, no other member of staff ever turned up. We were definitely in the right place according to our offer letters. Can anyone help?

I work there mate , on my induction i did exactly the same. The location stated on your letter is wrong , the correct location is : -
Royal Mail Parcel Sort Centre (temp),
Talbot Green Business Centre,
Heol-y-Twyn,
Llantrisant,
Rhondda Cynon Taff.
CF72 9FG

Its just around the corner from the one you were at. If you go up from the road past leeks to the traffic lights turn left ,then at the roundabout take the first exit keep driving then at the next roundabout there is 4 exits take the 3rd. Keep driving till the next roundabout and take the 2nd exit then the sorting office is on the first right.

Correct there is two , the one the OP was at is the one that's there all year round not the temporary sorting office

Sorry, seeing as people are talking about the Llantrisant office here I was wondering if anyone had the sick number for that? I had the pneumatic lift run over my foot on my first shift and now my foot won't fit in my shoe... Cheers to anyone who has it!

I am so glad I found this. I thought I'd bump this instead of making an entirely new thread.

I was accepted for a position at PSC Llantrisant, CF72 9FG, due to start on 8th Dec.

I was under the impression that the PSC in Llantrisant must be the one next to Leekes (as I live 10 minutes away by foot, know the area very well and haven't seen any other Royal Mail Parcel Sorting Centres locally), but had my doubts because of a disparity in the postcodes given on maps. The postcode for the Delivery Office on Cowbridge Road is CF72 8UU.

Am I correct in assuming that the actual location is one of the lockups in Talbot Green Business Park/Centre, just off the A473?
