My understanding is that the £300 is now £200 and the other £100 has gone into the pay rise so you get it week in week out year in year out.

If the original offer was 2.6% and it has been significantly improved with the £100 in our basic does that mean ill be getting 2.85%?

it was posted earlier in the week,that something could be happening today, but obviously that is very unlikely,and i understand Dingo your hands are tied,but surely you could save us the hassle of checking ,by just saying that nothings doing today-thanks.

if there is no back pay then my guess is it will be a no vote

the only encouraging point I have on this is that Dingo said we may get *some* money before Xmas but the back pay would not be until after

As I said yesterday on another thread that the £300 payment is now £200 as the remaining £100 will be consolidated into basic pay. My understanding is that the £200 on top of the current £200 Xmas bonus is what will be paid prior to Xmas if there is a deal.

With regards to the back pay i don't think that will be paid until the outcome of any ballot of the membership.

As I understood it the £300 was for agreeing the deal and not striking, has that changed? It may be that the deal will not be accepted and so a strike is still on the cards. As for the £100 being consolidated into basic pay, like all deals lately we are financing that ourselves, so we can hardly call it an improved offer it's the same money couched in different terms

Difference being the £100 put into basic pay will be payed every year and increase
each year rather than just one off payment.
So quite an improvement in my eyes. Over 20 years it is over £2000 opposed to £100.
