First of all was asked to work nights over xmas pressure period ie 12 till 8,have now been informed its changed to 2am till 10am and you don't get full night allowance for this shift.Anybody no if this is correct and what the allowances are

i didi 2 10 last year and this year im doimg the same and last year i got allowance.

The criteria for the night shift allowance in the Way Forward agreement is "three hours worked across 2300-0500" - don't think that it has changed in any subsequent agreement. So starting at 0200 would qualify for the night shift allowance and starting at 0201 would not (that would qualify for the dawn shift allowance instead)

Is there a link to a document showing this? I've a feeling its gonna crop up at my office. They starting us at midnight, I've a feeling they think only those who start before midnight qualify.
