Are the hours staggered over the week because it only gives you a 6 hour day, with loading/unloading you aren't going to get too far. Mind having said that, there was far less stress on the shorter working day than there is now. Even with 6 hours driving I couldn't do it there's far too many dickheads on the roads these days.

Now? They've been doing that for a long time. TBH I think there's a deadlock and they'll be meeting the big guns tonight after the news has gone to RM of the likely result unless they can be persuaded to re-evaluate their decision. The reason I think that is because they know what the decision is so why haven't they said? Even if it was a split decision why not say so.

No sometimes our duties can be 15 hours long and sometimes they can be 5 hours long. This does mean you could be on 4 day week as well as 6 day week. Sometimes you could be doing a 60 hour week then 20 hour week.its not all bad just sometimes it's not as easy as some people say on here. We can cover a lot of miles with I suppose a lot of responsibility..
