Amazingly according to most on this forum no one voted yes for the bt2010 agreement!
Amazingly the union is trying to get the best possible result for deliveries, yet some people in deliveries just want to get on the street!
Negotiations take time so stop all the bleating and wait for the final draft.

You haven't got a clue whether the unions leaders are trying to get the best possible result for deliveries or not unless you have been party to the talks! Wake up and smell the coffee you loon and look at the history of previous agreements that have left deliveries that are in the state they are in today and come out of the Royal Mail 'all you need is love' advertisement mode hahaha. Time for action, has been for a long time truth be told.

PS over twenty thousand posties voted NO i believe to accept the last deal so every chance that on a forum you will come across only those who voted NO to such a shoddy agreement.

Does anyone have any inside info on what the sticking points are to reaching an agreement ?If its delivery issues then we all know delivery staff stick together !! Not !!If we all did the job properly on delivery and stuck together we wouldn't be in this mess !

The union advising this was all that was available and that delivery changes would be done in conjunction with the union, this never happened , not that you'd know tucked up in your mail centre.

As for your comment tucked up in a nice mail centre let's not forget when you 're old and infirm you too can get a jolly in a Mail centre near you until you retire! Well you would do if half hadn't been closed down!
You missed the point there are 3 times the delivery members than processing/distribution so by crunching the numbers YOU vote the agreement in. Yes the membership did vote it in but the majority by a huge margin are in delivery!

Delivery voted it in based on what we were told was on offer ,which isn't what we now have.

3 years later delivery still have the same people representing them yet the affected membership allows them to be voted in very time! Why? Why?

And the position was never filled,It was subsumed into another officer's role.
How would that help us?

Anyway you know how this union works pcb,nobody falls on their sword unless there is someone or a group of someones behind them on the inside to give them a mighty push as was the case with the person you have cited.

Shouldn't we all be kept in the loop about what's going on in the talks??? We voted for this it's gone on for to long now and the only info we are getting is a new date every week we pay out fees so we would like some information plz

They've probably just started on the cheese and onion sarnies about now,adding up the drinks bill to come out of the union fighting fund.
