The trappy bird at work is our rep. already in the job 2 day's and she has recruited 3 new members. 1 bloke reckoned she should have been a lawyer with her recruitment talk. he wasn't pressured to join but she put a compelling arguement forward.
:Very Happy at this rate she will have the rest of em sigened up by friday!!!!

Letters wise quiet but cos of the mumpties who designed these new walks we have, and One of my safe drops which I send 3 bags to is closed on a Saturday I have to dead walk for approx 1/2 hour.

I told them I needed a new pouch box about 3 months ago and now 3 weeks into the new walks still no pouch box. They don't even need planning permission as it will be on private property. It can be seen from the street which is why I need a pouch box. SO much for Adam and AL saying we would get the tools and support we need. Another reason why no-one is listening to their propaganda because they say one thing and seem to do another .

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Yesterday and today not too bad at all and I've got a fay off tomorow. However one thing realy gets my goat and it happened today. Why do those other people who put leaflets in peoples letter boxes leave them half hanging out. It makes the round take longer as its more awkward to put the mail in. Today I got so pissed off about it I started to take them out and leave them where they fell. Litter bug.

Bit weird again today walk itself busy but not heavy so finished on Time. But IPS sorting up to limit and there was still 2 yorkies in our section to do. He told us to go back to frames - must have been worried about mass cut off's.

NOT TO BAD TODAY. NOT BAD VOLUME WISE. JUST HEAVY. SKY MAGS, NATIONAL TRUST AND AN EXPLOSION OF
PACKETS. ALL OF THE PART TIMERS ARE OF THIS WEEK SO IPS IS LESS OF A CHORE. LINE MANAGER CALLED ME IN
OFFICE FOR A BRIEF ON THE STANDARDS OF STRIKE ACTION. YAWN. WENT AORUND THE MEMBERS TO MAKE SURE THEY'D VOTED YES. STILL GOT A FEW 'I'LL DO IT TOMORROW, BUT I'M VOTING YES. NOT MUCH EFFORT TO PUT A CROSS IN THE YES BOX AND POST IT. HOME FOR 12.30 (EASY EH) BACK ON THE COLLECTIONS AT 4.
