i want to hear that the workload in delivery will be reduced! Unbearable workload & management driven by unbearable savings targets must be sorted or an extra 15 quid a week in our pay packets wont mean s**t when we are all in the nuthouse & cannot spend it! The bigwigs in the union must get right what they got horribly wrong in the last deal & STOP agreeing to these unachievable tools & standards that are IMPOSSIBLE to attain on a daily basis with bullies breathing down your neck. Keep the money & give us a deal so we dont have to work like dogs everyday & still have to work over to complete!

Thanks dingo. Too many hotheads on this forum. Easy to rant. It takes a cool head to negotiate a good deal.
I even believe the 2010 agreement was a good deal for the membership.
It just needed to be implemented correctly in delivery offices.
Ours is all good because we have a strong local union that won't accept any nonsense.
The union is about every member working and looking out for each other.
Looking forward to seeing the final agreement.....

Based upon the last seven day extension to 'Sort out Delivery', and the fact that "On delivery there is still a lot of work still to be done", then it's inevitable that final four days of talks cannot achieve a solution.

Regardless of the fact they promised no agreement unless everything is agreed, on Monday they'll make an agreement minus the Delivery aspect but with a clause about revisiting it going forward.

All the Union are doing is playing for time to save face and appear to the membership as if they've gone the extra mile, whilst selling out the final mile.

our office is a smallish office with mostly rural duties we also have a "little hitler" manager that intimidates staff only a few will stand up against him the rest are threatened with the conduct code/suspension etc etc our rep is always on a jaunt more away than in the office ..area have no interest because we are a small office and don't count (that's the general opinion when we have asked for help) our manager is only interested in his bonus and savings and f*ck the rest of the staff...if you are his mate (not many) you get away with anything....if you are slow ..you get of prep early so not to create overtime...if you are fast/efficient you are rewarded with more work...mail is left on a daily basis and everyone is stressed to the point of several wanting to jack....so unless this deal has some miracle cure for deliveries the b+h will continue just as before maybe even worse now we are at the mercy of share holders ..I do hope this deal is good and those horrible b*stards in charge can now be held accountable

Perhaps Moya will be involved over the weekend, she might bring a light to the table, she might not, but at least we will know what we are dealing with. RM need to know what people in delivery think, is Bob Gibson going to tell her, I don't know. But hopefully she isn't as deaf as Higson......

So ive heard that its london deliveries that are holding up this deal because of their delivery practises .apparentley they are miles behind in terms of how they deliver mail ,ie van sharing etc. Any truth???

West london been van sharing for past two years. Revisions were done 2 years ago.
