So far our Dom's Xmas plan goes something like this.

"During Xmas pressure I'll hide under some coats, and hope that somehow everything will work out."

This thread is a sign of the times. In years gone by youd always get someone come on and say something like "we've got 20 hours per man across the board and unlimited nights" No chance these days. Wing and a prayer in most places relying on posties goodwill to get the job done. Also RM employ hundreds of casuals over christmas, why do none show up on deliveries? We get extra work as well you know

Our DIM is enjoying his first Xmas since transferring into our office this year - he already seems to think that the packets must have peaked because he's never seen so many in other offices. I'd say there's about half of what we were getting mid December last year so he's in for a shock. :nana

Winging it and B&H seems to be the plan.
My plan is the same as the rest of the year - in on time, home on time. Excess mail - not my problem :wave
