What is/ who are pec and what is there role?

When you joined a trade union you agree to the rules and rule book. In between conferences the decision making is done by nationally elected reps who form the Postal Executive. There are 17 voting members. Of course if there is an agreement then the postal executive will decide whether the agreement is acceptable and then if it is then its will be subject to a further ballot of the membership.

Thanks for update Dingo, this was always going to be a very drawn out affair and personally i can wait another 7 days or weeks to squeeze the very last out of the business. To all those who think they could do a better job on their own grovelling on their hands and knees wise up you fools.

It would have been smarter to start the whole process earlier.

Bet it will be another 7 days. Most folk will have had if they choose that option. It has to be a deal today or action next week. Or they run a real risk of alienating much of the membership which would clearly play into royal mails hands.
