Hi does any one know if you still get the Christmas bonus if your off sick,I'm long term sick been off since July and won't be back before the new year at least I think thanks in advance for any replies cheers

No you will not,you have to attend work during the xmas pressure weeks to receive the bonus.

I know that applies to the £100 we've always had, but does it also apply to the £100 that we're getting in lieu of colleague shares?

That's not true about having to work during the 3 weeks of pressure to get the Christmas Bonus. That was a ploy RM used so you wouldn't go sick during this busy period. Under the BTWF Agreement this changed, so you are paid regardless whether you are in or not. A couple of lads at our office got it last year who were on long term sick.

I thought the 2nd £100 was separate from the Xmas bonus and £100 was the minimum with further based on the companies performance? Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this is what was proposed to compensate for the colleague share debacle?

The Delivery Supplement is paid according to hours worked and not contracted hours.

you could tell rm that, i'm on a 24 hour contract and have been doing 39 hours since april/may time yet i still receive the same delivery supplement i had while doing my 24 hours.

Your extra delivery supplement is paid in your over time. So your take home pay will be the same as someone on 39hrs.

You'll pay the same ratio of tax on the £200 (and £300 if it comes back) as you do on any overtime you are paid.

Xmas Bonus - Yes

£300 "that was offered" - Maybe - the offer that included that was both withdrawn by RM and rejected by the Union. At the moment it does not exist.

i wouldnt put it past the union to barter away the 200 quid xmas bonus
