I would like to think that your respective Dom's have all been informed of these delays and in turn he/she has reported these failings in office diary .I would even question that hopefully its been communicated on daily conferance call.Personally i would email Moya just to cover yourselves becauuse as we no an :no no d i no personally wilful delay is a dismissable offence even for a first offence :wave

I always question it when ever a walk hasn't been covered or lapsed has been left in the frame for days at a time! I've spoken to the union rep about it being willful delay but he doesn't seem to think he can do anything about it! We all know the doms and line managers are constantly lying now to keep their heads above the water!

Numerous walks and part-walks did not go out, some had not even been fully prepped by mid afternoon. I can see our depot in complete meltdown in a few weeks, we have numerous unfilled vacancies and so there is unlikely to be many staff acting as "Xmas asistance" OPGs this year, we barely kept our heads above water last year when we had a fair few.

But RM only have themselves to blame, they failed to stay in planet reality with regards to walk sizes and the huge increase in internet shopping traffic, we've had numerous walks needing ~15-25% cut-offs to stand a hope of finishing on time all through the summer. Others were given lapsing allocated without logic and so the lapsing was brought back almost everyday.

just tell him if you want us to do collapse we will leave our big parcels , and where not prepared to work till 4.00 , and if they start being clever just say well im only working to my time . they cant have the best of all worlds.

"delaying the stuff that can wait " someone said but how do you know what's in them? I recently "prioritised" (the new in word!) my parcels and a tracked amazon was a chuffing jar of honey!
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

The more parcels the better. Means I start delivery later and get less done when out since I work to my time. It's great when it's busy, busy, busy!!

Not only are the parcels going ballistic, they can't even get the mail out to us on time.
3 out of the last 4 days we have had agency drivers bringing mail down to our office and the DOM has sent out postmen to try and find him.
It mean't we were sent out without us even getting our 2nd lot of walksorted or parcels
The plonkers at Gatwick office didn't even give the agency driver a postcode to find our delivery office :arrrghhh

Tracked is approx a third high this last week compared to last year and two weeks earlier than the start of the increase last year. All offices are doomed.

The SP (standard parcel) stuff can wait, tracked and 1st class being "prioritised".
Untracked Amazon parcels you might wish to clear due to their oversize. Many of the Amazon large parcels are 90% packaging (by size). No wonder they named the company after a bloody rain forest

Took no oversize or tracked out, was a full york and a half and still we told our manager we did not think we would complete on time. He then told us to remove or not prep a certain large posting from a well known TV/Phone/Broadband provider.Virging :no no on the ridiculous. Not mailsort either, was DSA. Seems our manager has already started his own boycott of DSA.

If that's not willful delay , what is......

Well yeah, but if everybody only worked to their finish time the cut-off would increase every day, and nobody would get their mail.

I've never known anyone cut off in my office, some grumble a bit but ultimately everybody's happy to complete as long as we get paid the overtime, which we do.

We've got two Christmas duties now, and both people on these duties have agreed to get all the parcels delivered by the end of every day, so we shouldn't have any left behind.
We have a perfect record in aviation: we never left one up there.
