Xmas bonus

Just wondered as I am quite new if we get a Xmas bonus. If so how much and if it is pro rats I work 31 hours if that helps.

yes we get a xmas bonus off 200 for full time and it is pro rata

yeah we do get one, i think its £200 and im not sure how it works on your contract, but id expect probably around 80% of that so £160ish less tax if i was you.
Sorry for not having a complete answer, but it should be something around what i mentioned.

You will get about 158 pounds then tax man will take their shares, so it should be about 130 pounds ish.

I think that the only people who will get the £200 bonus and pro rata are those who lost out on the colleague shares. Everyone else will get £100 xmas bonus pro rate.

And how many staff work pro rata at xmas , most have there hrs adjusted for business needs , but it doesn't get recognized when it comes bonus's , another piss take from this wonderful company

If p/t staff move to f/t hours over the xmas period then the rep/manager should ensure the appropriate paperwork is completed and they receive the full xmas bonus.

The problem is that a part timer is rarely ever moved to a temp full-time position unless they are covering for a long-term absentee. Even that does not happen in my office... We have a line manager that wants to pay a 32 hour guy an extra 5 hours per week for throwing out 2 walks knowing full well that this guy has effective done full time hours and FT job for that week.

What happens is that a part-timer will most likely work a lot more hours over Xmas as overtime.

It could include throwing out your own walk if on a 24 hour contract, come in early to throw another walk or help on IPS or do some packet runs after delivery and then there is the regular delivery overtime or working a day-off.

Part-timers do a lot of OT - that is a fact!

I know the OT over Xmas is probably paid at Scheduled Attendance rate - is that higher? No idea.

* The only thing that I can give RM credit when it comes to pro-rata is the Allocation of Shares based on the hours worked and paid. And that should be the way forward when it comes to other bonuses or benefits. I doubt that had anything to do with the UNion

The Transformation Lump Sums are paid according to hours worked and not contracted hours.
The Delivery Supplement is paid according to hours worked and not contracted hours.

As to the xmas bonus - if you are asked to work f/t hours, ask if you will receive the full bonus.
If not, contact your Area rep.

No you will not,you have to attend work during the xmas pressure weeks to receive the bonus.
