Well i have just been on CWU web site and they say talks are ongoing and reports of the talks failing are untrue.

Dear Colleague



ROYAL MAIL DISPUTE



CWU headquarters has received reports that some Royal Mail managers are reporting that the talks between the Union and Royal Mail have broken down. This is untrue.



Branches will wish to know that talks with Royal Mail are continuing at the TUC today (8th October 2007) and a further report will be provided in due course.



Any queries regarding this LTB please contact the DGS (P) Department quoting reference number 60000.

all that means is todays talks have ended with no agreement not that they have failed ,they will resume tomorrow

the BBC, along with all the other press, haven't reported the full accurate story on one single day since our action began . . . . it may be wise to wait for our own union to tell us what's going on
