What exactly was Angard then?
Which National Agreements does it protect?
Neither RM or the CWU seems interested in following national agreements when it doesn't suit their agenda.
Work all your paid hours?
Mandatory use of delivery equipment?
Holidays not done on seniority?
Working annual leave?
I could go on........and on and on.
You do have a point there sad to say
* I will like to add that Seniority is not something the Union should crow about - what's that about?
** Protect Full time jobs - how? In delivery, we do not always have like for like replacements - more like PT for FT and what is the actual percentage - certainly not 75/25
*** Holidays, Sick Pay, Annual Leave - nice guarantees but RM were probably not going to make much of a change to them anyways
**** Inferior terms for new starters - though not inferior but it is now time served...
***** 3 or 5 year guarantee - what does it really mean in terms of workload and expectations or it is about just the terms above not exactly about working conditions?
****** Pay gone up - we shall find out
******* Pensions might still change in 2018
In delivery Point 6 will actually affect all the other points [/b] and will undermine whatever might have been achieved. For example, more money and more workload cancels out each other. Sick likely to go up... Pensions might not be enough to cover for people being crippled or emotionally strained by the job and so on...
Please, please, tell us what is RM strategy for packet growth. Their strategy so far is to pile more and more and expect us to do the job of Parcel Force at the same time be the friendly local postie that delivers regular letters as well as crappy direct mail and households.
Below is just the returns for one day - including oversized, medium and regular sized packets, specials and recorded letters and packets. It is a joke it is not even Xmas yet.
