Personally I think they called off the strike as they were worried how many going to work on strike day and the thought of people getting £300 for coming into work well what would the union say if it was paid. Now if they announce a strike tomorrow will moya come back with another cash offer if you work?

Cloherty your talking rubbish the only reason they called off the strike was that Royal Mail blinked and gave 3 big concessions on pay ,pension and extended their legal guarantees from 3 year to no end date with first review on 5 years.

Despite all Royal Mails bribes every single Branch got a majority yes vote and with some in the 90s. It is not the union who has climbed down.

Is it really so much trouble to ask for a decent agreement from Royal Mail.that will protect us for years to come. They treat us like we arnt worth a decent agreement. Of all the years of hard work we have done for the company we are repaid with, well, basically nothing. Thanks Royal Mail, your the best!

This can't happen as dingo has said I am talking rubbish and the Royal Mail have already made 3 big concessions. To me it's sounds like the delivery postpersons will be skipping on there rounds. Personally I think not.
