Really? So if an individual had a lunch time appointment and was due to receive treatment for cancer, they would deduct pay?

please read what we have been saying, if its a condition covered by the equalities act, then probably not, if its a one off appointment for something not covered under the equalities act then probably, remember you do not have a legal right to paid time off to attend hospital, RM choose to pay us under certain circumstances but they are not legally obliged to

most offices dont ours would give you the whole day and probably a late start the next day if it was cancer treatment, its all down to your dom and if he feels he can save a couple of hours by making you make up the time, it is something he is entitled to do as long as he is complying with the special leave policy and the equality act

I do have occasional hospital appointments for a condition that is covered by DDA.
Sometimes I'm given the time off but sometimes I have to work the hours at a later date.
No consistency but that's RM.
