The best day for the next strike has been discussed and it will be different days for different disputes if this is what is required.
Subject to clearance by the PEC, Dave Ward will serve notice on the 13th November for action on Wednesday 20th November if the situation is not satisfactory for Royal Mail members.
Subject to clearance by the PEC, Andy Furey will serve notice on Saturday 16th November for action on Saturday 23rd November if the situation is not satisfactory for Post Office members.
Prepare for industrial action.

I tried to change it but only the title of the first post was changed. Perhaps it is meant to be. Being a Buddhist, I try to rid myself of all desire and cravings. I have no desire for anyone to have faith in my posts but members should have faith that our union will call us out on strike. The PEC should not give away anything more without a fight.

I'm not sure that material written by made up characters on an internet forum is the best place to find inspiration. If you want real union news, go to the CWU website. It is poorly laid out and a bit boring but it does promote the official CWU position.

Look at the CWU website and compare it with the RMT website. The CWU want members to go to the CWU site for union information. If members prefer RMC to the CWU website, the union has a problem. Who is the CWU web editor?
Union busting consultants were hired to weaken the union in the run up to privatisation. They are still being paid.
Union busters aim to separate rank and file members from the union and its activists. It is highly likely that union busters have invented some of the characters on RMC. Union activists should be talking to real people and organising members in the workplace.
The British public have been stitched up by this privatisation. The Post Office should never have been cut away from Royal Mail. As the retail arm of the national postal service, the Post Office has always made a loss and this has had to be the case to serve everyone in the UK. The only reason the Post Office was separated from Royal Mail was to make Royal Mail saleable. The so called pension crisis that allowed the Government to go to the EU to ask for permission to take on the pension liability was entirely manufactured. Royal Mail made 409 million pounds profit last year. The British public had to pay 116 million pounds to keep the Post Office open. The British public love the Post Office and they want to keep it as it is. Franchising doesn't work, the public have said it gets a poor service. If Royal Mail is renationalised and joined back together with the Post Office, the profits would keep Post Offices open and the stamp prices down. Why should these profits go to people like the King of Kuwait?
