We heard on picket line today that the strike breakers were preparing walks in order to ease the burden for wednesday... Looks like we will be walking up the same drives more than once!!

I don't know if it's common practice everywhere else but I'd always write 'MP' on an envelope, short for Miss-prepped if it had been missorted.; just to cover yourself if the managers happen to stumble across it and ask questions.fat ####### wrote:how many missorts will we have when we get back after all the useless spineless strike breakers have been sorting it all

Yes I quite agree the CWU should be giving news interviews giving our side of things but please no more pathetic interviews like Billy Hayes and his Northern Rock one.kanuuuuuu wrote:of course theres a huge backlog, RM dont want to come out and say this publicly tho.dogfood wrote:Yet another useless comment from RM without giving a figure to the expected backlog the amount of backlog that exists is irrelevant.
Expected backlog 100m letters actual backlog 80m letters not as bad as expected but still a huge problem.
- Postmen get £440/ week average wages = LIE
- 33% of staff worked during the strike = LIE
- theres not a huge backlog = LIE
why arent the CWU getting any people on the news and giving our side, all youre seeing at the moment is RM doing a damage limitation operation and its working because theres a lack of counter argument.

that is correct,i worked last night (crazy strike times in my opinion, had thursday, friday, sat night off, back sun night, off mon,tues--sort it out cwu)and in my do there are 6 trays of coded trays on each frame,no flats sorted at all (5 or 6 yorks to sort),and work out on the bank that hasnt been touched.simply_the_best wrote:Cant see it myself, the guy that was on the Sunday shift yesterday told us that the frames were heaving already
