Yeah the latest one is to take a picture of a stool(no not the turd variety there's enough of them about already) tucked under the frame..inside a white box drawn on the floor...amazing.fishtank wrote:This is the future of WCM in deliveries.

The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

Re: pathetic
ive asked about this a few times on here now without success, maybe you can advise fish?. i thought the union had dropped wcm like a hot tattie, and were not having anything more to do with it, yet it keeps popping up on here and in their rag mag. and only today at a wtll they were gobbing on about it again. i challenged the dom and he said he'd never heard about it being dropped and as far as he was concerned it was still a major part of their plans? is it back on? hope not.fishtank wrote:This is the future of WCM in deliveries.

There is not, or should not be, any union involvement.daveyeff wrote: is it back on? hope not.
Why would RM care if the union wants to involve itself or not?
They believe in this continuous improvement nonsense and they will carry on with it regardless.
And in all honesty who wouldn't want to see zero accidents on delivery.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

No personal effects? Fair enough. Tell them that your fleece isn't a personal effect, its a work uniform, they gave you it.kirstyx wrote:wish i had made it up. its a new manager we've had for a couple of months throwing his weight around the whole office hates him its always little things he picks on but when he wants you to do overtime he acts like your best friend. i did tell him the fleece was only there because it got wet when i walked to work in the rain but got told that no personal effects are allowed to be left on the frame at all. im kinda looking forward to tomorrow to see what hes going to say

Re: pathetic
This is typical of the Higson/Greene management regime - absolute pettiness running rife through D.O's. It is clear from on here and other online places that "anything left on or by the frame is to be punished" is a National policy for Royal Mail. It's infantile. "All you need is love" eh?....
And they wonder why the workforce are fired up to take industrial action. It is pettiness such as this which fans the flames....
