Anyone know a contact for the shares manager as I am looking to put in an appeal as I missed the cut off point by a week, however I have been working continuously for the past three years and was offered contract in April however it took till July until a officially became Royal Mail staff. Do you think its fair that a new recruit who started in June gets the shares but someone like me doesn't get any? Any help will be appreciated
Already contacted Hr sheffield but they say if I missed cut off point there nothing I can do. Line.manager also no help as he doesn't know who/how to approach it.

It's fair there had to be a cut off point.
It's unfortunate you missed it but not unfair.

Re: Shares
Personally, I think it is unfair if you were offered a contract in April. If you have that in writing then I think you should pursue this matter. If you haven,t then as others have said, it is tough luck as the line was drawn the wrong side of fairness for you.
