Agreed. They are still in talks, so let's just wait and see what comes out in the wash. Using words like" vague" say's it all really.Budfrog wrote:The emphasis must always be on reaching an agreement, not striking, and there is nothing to suggest that CWU leadership are not working towards that aim.

To be fair , Royal Mail did not want the Joint Statement to be published at all they simply wanted a short communcation that there was a joint statement and further talks and that the action was stood down.Red Robbo wrote:Nothing from our reps who went to the meeting in SW1 yesterday, not surprised though, mushrooms springs to mind, kept in the dark and fed on bullsh*t.
You have to remember that Royal Mail had made 3 significant concessions ans knew they would look bad after all the Comms to have much published.
In terms if Comms to Branch's , well the briefing finshed at 3 yesterday and reps had lots of travelling to do. I am sure more Comms will come out.

if the union agree to a no strike deal in the negotiations then were finished the royal mail will have a field day with the work force as they will do what they want when they want and there will be nothing to stop them getting away with it
