However, on the plus side, all those MC Early Turn staff that would have still got paid for a full week (being Tues-Sat duties) when the rest of us are out on the lines losing a day would be affected. Oh, but wait a minute, most of our reps are on Early turn. Hmm, coincidence?

Now why would that be considered an option? If there has been no agreement by then faffing around with a couple of hundred blokes for an hour would achieve what? IMHO we have already missed the boat for engaging IA, it's now just down to chattering and presenting an offer to the membership where the union can claim a face saving victory.

Most reps in my wife's office are on Night Shift, including the H&S rep.
Except they never actually do those hours, as they are on full-time release. The H&S rep is currently involved in World Class Mail projects (despite the CWU policy of non-cooperation with WCM) on earlies

Wish I could get paid full night shift allowance, without having to actually work through the night !!!
