My view of the joint statement

As I said yesterday I am happy just get it sorted and I would have taken the previous deal. It does not make any difference to me.

Why does it not make any difference to you? Do you not work for Royal Mail?

I say it does not make a difference to me because I was happy with the 8% payrise and if things change I will leave the business for a new challenge. Already training for a different career if things change which I do not like. When I started this job I did not see it as a job for life but have enjoyed it and the pay is good so I have stayed . I do have have other investments which I have built up through hard work and thank Royal Mail for having such varied shifts which enabled me to do these.

We are not worthy

ive no doubt dvb, that all these people that were happy with the royal mail deal, and were prepared to work and not support the union, will NOT take the improved pay offer, and the extended protection of t&cs. and are quite happy to be out of a job when the hatchet eventually does come down on them. they are grateful to have a job and will not bat an eyelid when pay goes down to minimum wage, and their pensions are further plundered.
