invited for document checking session‏

Post by Luther101 »

I applied back in September and was told if I don't hear anything by October 25th I should assume I didn't get the job. Just today I got a email from angard
saying "You have been invited for a document checking event at MDEC but have not yet booked yourself in for a session" but when I log into my application it just says application received and no way to book for an interview.

Is there a way to contact them? Anyone else get a similar email?

I think it is best to give them a call. They do have a website with some 0845 numbers... It is better to speak to someone if possible. I suspect they are making some last minute additional recruitments in view of the upcoming strike action(s).

They are actually supposed to be allocating shifts some time this week. GL

No problemo.

And when you go for this document checking lack, make sure you photocopy everything as requested - they do not have photocopiers or refuse to spend money doing so as they had done in the past.

You will sent home if you do not have all the documents and if you do not have photocopies of all originals including passport/driving licence, NI evidence etc. And also print off your application summary from Royal Mail jobs website...

I phoned them up and they told me next week they'll be allocating the shifts
