i hope this works out ok not just being led up the garden path till pressure is over and we start all over again at square one and a non strike agreement would make little sense as those in charge seem to change the rules as they go along

On one hand it looks very impressive for the CWU in getting RM to agree to their terms so quickly.

On the other hand you can't help but feel a bit suspicious why. I suppose we'll find out in time. Onwards and upwards, here's hoping for the best.

It doesn't say a deal has been done, it just says that progress has been made on pay and pensions, CWU will call the strike off for Monday as a gesture of goodwill to RM, it does not mean that there will not be a strike in the future so lets not get too carried away.

Like I said before, the union has lost it,both parties will try to reach an agreement by 13th november,if there is no agreement why arnt we on strike,I have here the joint statement,Sorry but I am in two minds now whether to go on strike

stop being negative people! dont jump the gun! I remember a few weeks ago getting letters from royalmail saying the pay deal was at the high end of what they could afford and that the business cannot look past 3 years! All of a sudden they can afford more & can see beyond 3 years!!! We may not be home dry yet but we as a union together are winning the war for our futures! Stay positive, & believe in our union leaders as they are all we have & must support them!
