He could come over here and replace one of the tyres on a HCT.........I've never seen a solid tyre come off a wheel before, I really wonder how they managed it

I notice the employer has a new "News Flash" out called COMMITTED TO REACHING AGREEMENT.
On it they are still punting this groundbreaking deal but this time there is absolutely no mention of any £300 lump sum.
Does this mean there is no £300?

The company accepted our offer for fresh talks and these began on Wednesday 23rd October.
In commencing these talks the company also agreed that the previously rejected offer was off the table and they confirmed that they would make a new improved offer on the key aspects of the dispute.
Haven't received it yet but look forward to asking the Dim about the £300 as I have heard from others that he has told some staff they will be paid this. Should the union also not be looking at a legal argument that would hold RM plus MG to account in interfering with a ballot or in making a bribe to influence a lawful ballot.
Posties in the SY area are still rumouring that strikers will lose their £300 pounds. The only place I have read that the £300 doesnt exist anymore is on here.
The £300 was mentioned last week by our DSM.
I said it would be illegal on the grounds of discrimination, and may result in a class action suit.
Their response? "Well, probably". Didn't bother to try and claim otherwise.
And today, was told by a colleague that they weren't happy about striking on Monday, as we'd lose nearly £400 (the non existent £300 and a days pay).
Told them the £300 doesn't exist etc.
Don't think they believed me.

Unfortunately I have no faith in the unions legal team.
When we were told we had to deliver someone else's dumped household deliveries to our own deliveries and re-deliver any of our own left over households(due to them not being counted properly) I was told (about 6 months ago) that the unions legal team were looking into it. It was obviously fraud but the unions legal team didn't stop it. It wasn't until recently when someone contacted Moya to tell her this was going on that it suddenly stopped.
I don't mean to insult anyone but..........surely you'd have to be pretty thick to believe that RM is going to give you 300 pounds for not striking. You can talk about rumours, hearsay, whatever? Surely it's better to think of it logically and legally, or if not that, just with a little common sense.
I quite like the idea of a rep who has encouraged his members to vote for and take strike action being paid the £300 because his day off happens to fall on Monday 4/11.

I agree, there is a lot of thickoes who still believe. Asking them what they spent their £300 on though could keep me chuckling for years after this is sorted out .
