A strike at Christmas is unpalatable, but if need be, necessary to gain what is needed as RM know they have a lot to lose, this is the only advantage & leverage the Union have, otherwise they have nothing. What was the point in leaving the ballot this length of time, 7 months, if they weren't going to do absolutely everything in there power to get an agreement done, we might as well have gone out in summer, or not at all, if too weak to go for the throat. As they say, go hard, or go home!
I already feel the Union have let the members down again if they arn't prepared to finish what they started, talk the talk, but can't walk the walk, they've deceived and betrayed us all.
