Nope its my bike and the bag was empty. I heard a loud crack whilst up the road and came back to the bike to find that. Think the wind was about 50-60 mph that day.

From the BBC web site
The Prime Minister has chaired talks about plans to protect the public.
In the conference call, joined by staff from organisations including the Met Office and the environment and highways agencies, Mr Cameron heard the storm could have a "widespread impact", his spokesman said.
But he was told there were plans in place to minimise the effect on public services such as schools, the NHS, transport and power supplies and postal services.

no just that they dont want to load it onto aircraft which are at risk of being cancelled due to high winds and have to try and make alternative arrangements at 2am, they think going by road is a better bet at the momentbringon4dayweeks wrote:are you saying its not safe in the air ?zx135 wrote:a lot of the mail due to be sent by mail tonight, has been transferred onto road/rail servicescyberheater wrote:I wonder what they will be.woofwoof wrote:From the BBC web site

Just a reminder folks. When you turn up tomorrow and if your manager finally sees sense and says that it's too dangerous to go out. Stay at work until he/she tells you to go home. Do not just go home because he/she will claw that day back during the week.
